Traditional thermocouple temperature measurement method:
The hot blast stove is one of the main auxiliary equipment of the blast furnace in an iron and steel plant. The control of its internal temperature is crucial to the ironmaking process. Because the furnace temperature (~1300℃) changes with the quality of iron ore, coke, and blower air volume, the commonly used S-type platinum-rhodium thermocouple is easily damaged. Each replacement of the thermocouple takes a long time, which can seriously affect production.
Due to the limitations of the thermocouple's operating environment (high temperature, high pressure) and structure, under the influence of many factors such as large temperature fluctuations, vibrations, and installation methods, the thermocouple has a short lifespan, unstable measurement accuracy, and troublesome maintenance.
Infrared Temperature Monitoring:
The RB-MS01 infrared temperature monitoring system, specially designed for measuring the temperature of the hot blast stove crown, can replace the thermocouple temperature measurement method to avoid the disadvantages of this method and can accurately and long-term monitor the temperature of the hot blast stove.
With the increasing application of infrared thermometers in the steel industry, infrared temperature measurement of hot blast stoves has reached a new level. Because infrared temperature measurement does not require contact measurement, the probability of damage to the infrared thermometer is greatly reduced, and the lifespan of the entire temperature measurement system is greatly increased. In addition, even if the infrared thermometer needs maintenance in the future, it only takes less than 5 minutes to replace the infrared thermometer, which greatly reduces the time to replace the temperature measuring element, thus improving production efficiency.
