Key Features of a Body Scanner
Summary: The body scanner uses uncooled focal plane imaging, which is faster, non-contact, and more accurate than mechanical scanning. With an imaging rate of 25 frames per second, it is suitable for high-speed rotary kilns. Multiple images can be obtained in one rotation of the kiln body. Each measuring point is located on a 6cm*6cm area of the kiln body, smaller than a human palm, allowing for accurate detection of even small amounts of refractory brick spalling.
Real-time dynamic infrared imaging:
Carcass scanner Using uncooled focal plane imaging, it is faster, non-contact, and more accurate than mechanical scanning. The imaging rate is 25 frames per second, suitable for fast rotary kilns. Multiple images can be obtained in one rotation of the furnace body. Each measuring point is located at 6cm*6cm on the furnace body, an area smaller than a human palm, and even the falling off of refractory bricks can be accurately detected.
Simultaneous imaging:
The infrared carcass scanner uses an industrial computer above 586 to process data, and can display the temperature distribution of the entire kiln in real time. The color image is displayed on the monitor, which is clear at a glance. A thermal image consists of 320*240 points, each point corresponding to a block on the kiln. In the case of multiple red kilns, if an ordinary thermometer is used, due to the limitation of the thermometer scanning speed, other parts inside the kiln will not be monitored simultaneously. However, the carcass scanner performs remote measurement and simultaneous imaging of the entire furnace body without missing any part, so that multiple red kilns and bright spots can be monitored simultaneously.
High temperature resolution:
The carcass scanner uses a high-sensitivity infrared detector, and its temperature resolution can reach <0.5℃ (200℃ target). This can timely reflect the subtle changes in the combustion inside the rotary kiln (especially the loss of local refractory bricks), and combined with the thermal imaging system software, it can predict trends, prevent accidents, and reduce unnecessary downtime and refractory brick replacement.
Visualization:
The carcass scanner system uses a large amount of computer technology, and the measurement data is completely digitized. The digitized signals and various calculation results are displayed intuitively in a graphical manner on the monitor, and the displayed color temperature distribution diagram directly displays the furnace skin temperature value or the furnace lining thickness.
Historical records:
The operating status of the rotary kiln can be recorded regularly. The calculation results and images of each thermal image can be recorded in the computer, and existing records can be retrieved and replayed at any time. This is helpful for data storage, retrieval, and management. In addition, the rich software usage will make historical records a powerful scientific basis for future analysis, argumentation, and decision-making.
