Classification of high-temperature endoscopes
Summary: A high-temperature endoscope is a detection instrument integrating traditional optics, ergonomics, precision mechanics, modern electronics, mathematics, and software. It is a device with an image sensor, optical lens, light source, mechanical device, etc.
High-temperature endoscope It is a detection instrument integrating traditional optics, ergonomics, precision mechanics, modern electronics, mathematics, and software. A type of instrument with an image sensor, optical lens, light source, mechanical device, etc.
1. From an application perspective, it can be simply divided into two categories: industrial endoscopes and medical endoscopes.
Industrial endoscopes can be classified into optical endoscopes, fiber endoscopes, electronic endoscopes, CCD video endoscopes, CMOS video endoscopes, and motorized 360° endoscopes. According to the type of endoscope light source, they are divided into high-frequency fluorescent endoscopes, fiber halogen endoscopes, and LED endoscopes.
2. The classification of medical endoscopes, according to their development and imaging structure, can be roughly divided into three categories: rigid endoscopes, fiber endoscopes, and electronic endoscopes.
There are many types of endoscopes used in medical examinations, and the classification methods are also different. Generally speaking, there are the following three general classifications. In marketing, the more widely used categories currently are rigid endoscopes and flexible endoscopes, based on whether the direction can be changed clinically.
1. According to the function of the endoscope
They are divided into single-function endoscopes and multi-function endoscopes. Single-function endoscopes refer to observation endoscopes that have no working channel, only an optical system. Multi-function endoscopes, in addition to having the function of an observation endoscope, have at least one working channel in the same endoscope body, with multiple functions such as illumination, surgery, flushing, and suction.
2. According to the location of the endoscope
According to different parts of the endoscope, they can be divided into ENT endoscopes, oral endoscopes, dental endoscopes, neurological endoscopes, ureteroscopes, resectoscopes, laparoscopes, arthroscopes, sinus endoscopes, laryngoscopes, etc.
3. According to whether the mirror can change direction
Clinically, endoscopes can be classified according to whether the direction can be changed: rigid endoscopes and flexible endoscopes. Rigid endoscopes use a prism optical system, and their main advantage is clear imaging, multiple working channels, and multiple viewing angles. Flexible endoscopes are a fiber optic system. The main feature of this type of fiber endoscope is that the lens part can be manipulated by the operator to change direction, expanding the range of applications, but the imaging effect is not as good as that of rigid endoscopes.
